ABOUT ME
My entire career as an attorney has been devoted to defending the rights of people charged with crimes. My years as an Assistant Public Defender in Miami, Florida and as a Staff Attorney for the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County have taught me a solid truth:
Everyone charged with a crime deserves the BEST defense - not just the best defense money can buy.
When you are charged with a crime, you deserve someone who will listen to you, hear your concerns, answer your questions and give you the full picture of what to expect. It is my job to make sure your rights are protected and my goal is to provide you with the most zealous defense possible to preserve those rights. I promise to fight for you every step of the way.

I have significant trial experience, having tried more than 40 jury trials to verdict in both New York and Florida and I have litigated more than 100 bench trials and pretrial motions. My criminal defense experience includes every phase of representation from arraignment, bail hearing, all trial preparations, including over 1000 depositions taken of civilians and law enforcement. I have extensive training in all aspects of litigation from jury selection, cross-examination of all witnesses and in presenting effective opening and closing statements.
I am also trained to consider and protect my clients in areas of collateral consequences that must be considered in every case: immigration issues, mental health and substance abuse concerns, human trafficking and Veterans’ issues to name a few.
